Ingredients
  

For the Dough:
  • 2 cups purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup cold butter
1 large egg
1/4 cup cold water
For the Filling:
8 oz queso blanco (or mozzarella/halloumi)
For Frying:
2 cups vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Dough: Mix flour, salt, and butter. Add egg and water, then chill for 30 minutes.
    Shape the Tequeños: Roll dough, cut into strips, and wrap around cheese sticks. Seal tightly.
      Fry to Perfection: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry until golden brown.
        Serve & Enjoy: Pair with guasacaca, marinara, or your favorite dipping sauce.
